IT outsourcing
for US teams
Senior engineers in Kochi building production software for American companies. One long-term team, with morning overlap on the East Coast.
A senior engineering team,
not a body shop.
TechMaven is a software engineering studio headquartered in Kochi, India, with branches in India and the USA. American companies bring us in to build and run production software: web platforms, mobile apps, SaaS products, AI features, enterprise systems, and the cloud infrastructure underneath.
The team that scopes your project is the team that ships it. Around 50 senior-led engineers, 98 percent annual engineer retention, and client partnerships that average seven years. There is no sales layer in between: write to us and engineering leadership replies within one business day.
Our Services
Seven years. Six engineering disciplines. The same senior team shipped production systems for Tesco Retail Media, Prostate Cancer UK, Neugo, and Wealth Analytica.
Why US teams choose us
East Coast morning overlap
Kochi is GMT+5:30. That gives two to three hours of morning overlap with the US East Coast, and the team adjusts schedules to match.
Written-first delivery
Scoping documents and written technical replies instead of status calls. Progress is written up and waiting when your day starts.
The same senior engineers
98 percent annual engineer retention. The engineer who starts your project is the engineer who ships it.
Senior rates, not cheaper rates
A senior engineer in India costs 40 to 60 percent less than the US equivalent. The saving buys more senior hours, not the same project for less.
Your code, your IP
Code and IP belong to you by default in our master services agreement. We sign an NDA before discovery when a project needs one.
Start with a paid pilot
Most long-term clients begin with a four-to-eight-week pilot, then move to a dedicated team or a milestone-based arrangement.
Questions US teams ask before they start.
How much overlap is there with US working hours?
Kochi is GMT+5:30, which gives two to three hours of morning overlap with the US East Coast, and the team adjusts schedules to match. Outside that window we work written-first, so decisions and progress are documented instead of waiting for a call.
What engagement models do you offer?
Fixed-scope projects for clearly bounded builds, time-and-materials dedicated teams for ongoing product work, and milestone-anchored hybrid arrangements for multi-quarter platform builds. Most long-term clients begin with a four-to-eight-week paid pilot.
How is pricing set?
We quote per project after discovery, not from a per-hour rate card. Cost depends on scope, complexity, and engagement model.
Who owns the code?
You do. Code and IP belong to the client by default in our master services agreement. We sign an NDA before discovery on any project that needs one, and we support escrow arrangements and on-premise repositories for sensitive engagements.
Have you built for US companies before?
Yes. Sharestates, a US real estate crowdfunding marketplace, runs on a platform we engineered with SEC-compliant investor onboarding and title company integrations. Our clients are in the US, UK, EU, UAE, Australia, Singapore, and India.
How should we evaluate an outsourcing partner?
Start with who will actually do the work, how they communicate, and who owns the code. Our guide to choosing a software outsourcing partner walks through the checks, and there are twelve questions to ask any vendor.
Who will we talk to?
Engineering leadership, from the first message. There is no sales development layer. Describe what you want to build and you get a written technical reply within one business day.
